If you own a building you may manage it yourself or engage a “professional” property management firm to handle all of the details.  Over my 30+ years in this business, I have seen the “good, the bad, and the ugly” (some not so professional) and it makes a big difference to partner with a quality firm to manage your asset.  Look for experience, track record with a FULL complement of capabilities.  Even if you do not initially want or need all of those services today, it’s important that your Management Company be able to provide A-Z services when a need unexpectedly arises.  I will follow this post with 26 separate services (A-Z) to look for in your professional Property Management firm.
